Business jet sales appeared stagnant in 2022, with just two more jets delivered in 2022 than in 2021.
According to the latest figures from the General Aviation Manufacturers Association, 712 business jets were delivered in 2022, a 0.3% increase from the 710 bizjets delivered in 2021.
Claiming the top spot in both years was Gulfstream, while the Cirrus Vision Jet again claims the No. 2 spot.
1. Gulfstream 500/550/600/650/650ER: 96 sold

2. Cirrus Vision Jet: 90 sold

3. Bombardier Global (all models): 70 sold

4. Bombardier Challenger 350/650: 50 sold

5. Citation Latitude: 42 sold

6. Embraer Phenom 300E: 42 sold

7. Pilatus PC-24: 40 sold

8. Citation M2: 35 sold

9. Dassault 2000LXS/900LX/7X/8X: 32 sold

10. Tie between Citation CJ3+ and Citation CJ4: 29 of each sold

Didn’t see your favorite business jet on the list? You can see the full year-end report from GAMA, which breaks down each manufacturer and model, at GAMA.aero.
Bibocas,
Did my wife tell you to say that?
🙂
This is close to “Apples vs Oranges”. It is difficult for me to consider the Cessna Vision a Business Jet; it’s not big enough. Some owners may offer their Vision out for charter, but they are primarily owner flown. (Please correct me if I’m wrong.)
Also, why group all the Gulfstreams together but not the Bombardiers or Citations? Bombardier sold ore jets than Gulfstream.
Nonetheless, it’s nice to see all this heavy metal moving out the door. We’ll see what the 2023 numbers look like.
Cheers…
I do, completely agree with You, Mr. Thomas Caruthers.
