Daher has released Version 6 of its Me & My TBM app.
Improvements in the latest version of the flight monitoring app, which was first introduced in 2018, include enhanced readability, which was achieved by incorporating larger text and better pictorial presentations, according to company officials.
Additionally, Version 6 introduces new flexibility that supports its use by multiple pilots while tracking their specific flights, addressing the needs of fleet operators, flight departments, and aircraft renters.
The new version also enables aviators to log flights that involve multiple landings, a tool for instructors during flight training debriefings, Daher officials noted.
Another new feature is the ability to identify specific types of flights: Private or business trips, training, maintenance, or ferry missions.
In addition to the various technical improvements, Version 6 of the Me & My TBM app allows automatic data transfer to other popular cloud-based applications, such as the CloudAhoy data-driven post-flight debriefing tool and the FlySto software for the processing of avionics log files.
Another aspect related to the development of piloting skills is Daher’s “My TBM Challenge” competition, which enables pilots to compare their flight performance with others in the TBM community. TBM owners can earn trophies by accumulating points in the challenge, while also earning recognition by attending TBM events and safety seminars, company officials said.
