Muskegon CareAffaire set to take off June 10

By General Aviation News Staff · May 29, 2023 ·

The 27th annual Muskegon CareAffaire, which benefits Wings of Mercy, will be held June 10, 2023, from 8 a.m. to noon at Executive Air Transport at Muskegon County Airport (KMKG) in Michigan.

“This event has been a local favorite for years and a significant funding source for Wings of Mercy,” organizers said.

All proceeds from the event benefit Wings of Mercy, a faith-based, non-profit volunteer pilot organization dedicated to helping people in need have access to life-saving medical care by arranging free flights to distant medical facilities.

The event includes a pancake breakfast, Run for Wings 5K walk/run, formation flying demonstrations by the Hooligans, static plane display, rides, and kid’s activities.

“This year we are bringing back the Classic Car Show featuring the West Michigan Street Rod Association,” organizers noted.

Also new this year: The airport will offer all event attendees free parking in the main terminal lot.
