Car show at air museum to benefit veterans

By General Aviation News Staff · June 17, 2023 ·

The Fargo Air Museum has partnered with North Dakota car club Twisted Royalty to host a Wings and Wheels Car Show at the museum July 8, 2023.

More than 100 cars, trucks, motorcycles, and aircraft are anticipated to attend, with a special warbird T-6 fly-over, according to museum officials.

All proceeds from the show will be donated to the Fargo Air Museum’s veterans program to provide events, community, and support to veterans in the Fargo Moorhead area. This is the third year for the charitable car show at the museum, officials noted.

“The Fargo Air Museum is proud to offer a space of community for veterans,” said Ryan Thayer, the museum’s executive director. “Every month at Veteran’s Coffee Hour it’s an honor to see veterans come together over donuts and coffee to swap stories and catch up. So many have given their lives to our country and the Fargo Air Museum makes it our mission to give back to them in any way we can.”

Admission to the show, which runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., is $10. Children 12 and under are free.
