Atlantic Aviation has opened its new FBO at Washington, D.C.’s Dulles International Airport (KIAD).
The lease on the property and facilities was awarded to Atlantic Aviation following “a rigorous Request for Proposal (RFP) competition conducted by the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority,” according to company officials.
Officials added the company plans to enhance its presence at KIAD through both expansion and facility improvements.
The company’s facility at the airport currently includes a 14,200-square-foot terminal, six hangars totaling 150,000 square feet, and 59,000 square feet of combined office and shop space.
Atlantic Aviation has more than 100 FBOs across North America, including at the nation’s top 20 general aviation airports, according to Tim Bannon, Chief Operating Officer.
