Cactus Fly-In celebrates 66th year

By General Aviation News Staff · February 21, 2024 ·

The 66th annual Cactus Fly-In and Hot Rod Show will be held March 2, 2024, at Casa Grande Municipal Airport (KCGZ) in Arizona.

Organized by the Classic Airplane Association of Arizona, the fly-in is held on the first weekend in March every year.

“We are not an airshow, but simply an old-fashioned fly-in where we try to gather as many antique aircraft and, now, autos as we can fit onto the airfield,” organizers say.

A donation of $10 a person or $20 a carload is suggested, however organizers note that aircraft and cars on display are not asked for a donation.

Organizers ask owners of display aircraft and autos to visit the fly-in’s website to learn more about how to register for the event.

On Friday, March 1, a “Welcome to Cactus Open House” with beverages and snacks will be held for arriving pilots and passengers.
