Brandon Carney submitted this photo and note: “I am flying left seat in our 1967 Cherokee 235, with my wife Kim in the right seat, our daughter Audrey behind me, and our youngest daughter Ashlynn behind Kim. This was my first flight with my family after earning my private pilot certificate. This day was extra special: Not only was this our first flight as a family after almost two years of working toward my private pilot certificate, but we were able to taxi next to Air Force One.”

Brandon , Congratulations !! You and your beautiful family will now have the opportunity to explore the countryside like few can. I don’t think there’s any more of a rewarding hobby than flying. A few words of advice if I may . Always Stay vigilant with a thorough study of the weather forecast before flight .. Study it well . NEVER feel the pressure of having to make a flight when the weather is questionable. “ Get there Itous” has ended badly for many. Live to fly another day.!!
You have a very capable aircraft in the Cherokee.
After you get some fun filled hours of VFR flying start working on that instrument rating.
Enjoy !!!!!!
