Airforms baffles approved for Cessna and Piper aircraft

By General Aviation News Staff · February 27, 2024 ·

Airforms recently received FAA-PMA approval on engine baffles for Cessna 172 G and H models, as well as Piper PA28R-180 aircraft.

The new baffles are available as a complete replacement kit or standalone replacement pieces, according to company officials.

“Engine baffles are susceptible to bending and cracking at vulnerable points,” company officials noted. “The Airforms engineering team has implemented reinforced designs to ensure that your baffles remain in optimal condition for as long as possible. By replacing your baffles, you ensure optimal engine cooling, enhancing performance, and extending the lifespan of your engine.”

All baffle assemblies are bare metal finished or powder coated, which enhances corrosion resistance, company officials added.
