Updates are now available on iOS and Android for Private Pilot, Commercial Pilot, CFI, and ATP checkride apps to reflect the latest editions of the Oral Exam Guide books, as well as some design enhancements, according to officials with Aviation Supplies & Academics (ASA).
ASA’s checkride apps feature a flashcard format to study the questions most likely to be asked by examiners during the last step in the pilot certification process, the practical exam. Questions and answers are organized and in compliance with the most current FAA testing standards, according to ASA officials.
The apps identify candidates’ strengths, weaknesses, and gaps in their aeronautical knowledge, which increases study efficiency, company officials added, noting users can mark questions for further review, creating their own study subject areas to restudy where they need it most.
ASA Checkride Apps are on the App Store, Google Play, and Amazon Appstore.
