“Whether you’re a novice or have dreams of becoming a professional pilot, Learn to Fly provides invaluable insights to help explore the skies,” said Sporty’s President John Zimmerman. “Our experienced teaching team offers a passionate and unique perspective on the nuances of the flight training process, making it the perfect companion for anyone embarking on their aviation journey.”

Loaded with “color graphics and helpful checklists,” the guide also includes dozens of links to expand the reader’s knowledge online, officials added.

Another indication that it’s all about making it to the airlines. What about just learning to fly?

Agree! Majority of SPs at our flight school are hoping for the airlines. Instructors now are leaving after about a year or so for the Regionals. But we also have a fair amount that are intending to fly for fun and purchasing their own aircraft. Flight school has gone from 3 airplanes to 8 in 2 years. Very busy!
