Karyn King submitted this photo with a note: “It was a slow day at SUN ‘n FUN 2023 for the Nanchang pilots. Two pilots approached me and spontaneously asked if I’d do a photo shoot off site, saying they’d always wanted a ‘shadow shot.’ I had no idea what it was until a quick briefing. Look carefully and you’ll see two planes belly to belly so close it looks like a shadow!”
