Dynon unveils largest display yet with SV-HDX1200

By General Aviation News Staff · April 10, 2024 ·

Dynon has released its biggest screen yet — the 12-inch SV-HDX1200.

The latest SkyView HDX display expands Dynon’s flagship SkyView HDX product line, offering experimental and light sport pilots “improved clarity and legibility on a large, sunlight-readable high-definition screen,” according to company officials.

“Pilot feedback is at the core of everything we do at Dynon and a common request is for a larger display option,” says Michael Schofield, director of marketing. “The SV-HDX1200 is a solution for all of us who are experiencing the effects of additional years on our eyes.”

According to company officials, features include:

  • Sunlight readable, high-definition display
  • Angled control panel, which allows for natural hand positioning
  • Controls fully backlit for night flight
  • Intuitive touch interface
  • Compatible: The SV-HDX1200 utilizes the same components and modules as existing SkyView HDX displays and can connect to other 10 inch SV-HDX1100 and 7 inch SV-HDX800 displays in the same panel.

The SV-HDX1200 is available for pre-order now for experimental and light sport aircraft, with a list price of $5,490. Shipments are expected to begin in May 2024.
