CareAffaire to raise funds for Wings of Mercy

By General Aviation News Staff · May 21, 2024 ·

The 28th Annual Muskegon CareAffaire, benefiting Wings of Mercy, will be held at Executive Air Transport at Muskegon County Airport (KMKG) in Michigan on Saturday, June 8, 2024, from 8 a.m. to noon.

“This event has been a local favorite for years and a significant funding source for Wings of Mercy,” said officials with the non-profit organization.

The event includes a pancake breakfast, Run for Wings 5k walk/run, formation flying demonstrations by the Hooligans, a static plane display, rides, kid’s activities, and a Classic Car Show featuring the West Michigan Street Rod Association.

The pancake breakfast, provided by the Muskegon Lions, is $6 per person or $25 for a family of six.

Registration fee for the 5K is $30 and includes the pancake breakfast. Register online at RunForWings.org. You can also register at the event.

All proceeds will benefit Wings of Mercy, a faith-based, non-profit, volunteer pilot organization dedicated to helping people in need access life-saving medical care by arranging free flights to distant medical facilities.
