Interactive map added to AirVenture FBO special deals page

By General Aviation News Staff · May 22, 2024 ·

For the 16th straight year, GlobalAir.com is offering a free-to-use FBO specials page for pilots flying to Oshkosh, Wisconsin, for EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2024.

New for 2024, the page will highlight FBOs offering camping, food, and fuel discounts on an interactive map, according to company officials.

“Globalair.com has been a long-time resource for bringing FBO fuel information to pilots, such as our free fuel map comparison page,” said GlobalAir.com President and CEO Jeffrey Carrithers. “Now that same mapping ability can help pilots planning their annual migration to AirVenture with an interactive page that shows fuel options and specials across the USA.”

FBOs across the U.S. have already started posting offers on the Oshkosh Specials page, including discounts of up to $1 per gallon on avgas, complimentary meals, picnics, and camping options.

FBOs can list their deals free of charge. They can also participate in a tiered sponsorship program to boost their visibility, company officials said.

Visitors will be able to use the specials page through Aug. 3, 2024.
