Pilot releases audiobook double feature

By General Aviation News Staff · July 10, 2024 · 2 Comments

Skylighter Press has released an audiobook double feature: “Tropic Angel” and “Tropic Descent,” written by pilot and author Nate Van Coops.

The aviation mystery/thrillers follow seaplane pilot Luke Angel as he confronts a dangerous conspiracy, a deadly cartel, and the shadows of his own past. Clues are scattered from the Florida Keys to the far side of the Gulf of Mexico, with much of the action centered around St. Petersburg’s Albert Whitted Airport (KSPG).

Nate Van Coops, a commercial pilot, FAA mechanic examiner, and certified flight instructor, is based in St. Petersburg. He has written 14 novels, the latest of which are set at KSPG.
