SocialFlight adds Adventure Guide

By General Aviation News Staff · July 17, 2024 ·

SocialFlight, a free aviation app for finding events, airport restaurants, and interesting places to fly, has launched a new feature that details thousands of flying destinations and aerial tours, as well as the “Destination Digest,” a personalized adventure guide for SocialFlight users.

The new SocialFlight Destinations feature is the result of a year-long team effort to document some of the most fun and interesting places to fly in North America, including detailed information, photos, reviews, and even courtesy car and transportation data, according to SocialFlight officials.

Also new is the personalized adventure guide called the SocialFlight Destination Digest. The Destination Digest is a biweekly email “Adventure Guide” that features national, regional, and local flying destinations, customized to every user, according to company officials.

“I’ve been using SocialFlight for years, but the new destinations feature has opened up a whole new world of flying for me,” said Brian Schiff, pilot, author, and aviation educator. “As soon as the SocialFlight Destinations Digest hits my inbox, I find myself planning new adventures to places I never knew existed. It gives me hundreds of new reasons to go flying.”

SocialFlight users can add their own favorite flying destinations with photos, reviews, and more, company officials noted.

In addition to destinations, SocialFlight includes aviation events (in-person and online), airport restaurants, on-demand WINGS/AMT & IA Renewal courses and the FLY2WIN Challenge, where users can enter to win prizes.
