Museum to hold fundraiser right before Cleveland National Air Show

By General Aviation News Staff · August 1, 2024 · Leave a Comment

The International Women’s Air & Space Museum (IWASM) will host Corks on the Concourse Friday, Aug. 30, 2024, from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

Happening the night before the official start of Cleveland National Air Show weekend, the event provides support to IWASM’s work to preserve, educate, and inspire the community about the role of women in all areas of air and space, according to officials with the museum, which is inside Cleveland’s Burke Lakefront Airport.

The event features an exclusive wine-tasting experience featuring Ohio-based wineries. Guests also can test their trivia knowledge with special lightning round prizes, as well as bid in a silent auction.

The evening will also include a ceremony honoring the museum’s third annual Lifetime Achievement recipient.

Tickets, which are required, are $80 for non-members, $70 for members, a group of four or more $70 each, and a $55 Designated Driver (non-alcoholic) ticket. All in-person tickets include a commemorative wine glass and wine samples for participants 21 years of age or older.

Tickets may be purchased online on the Events page at IWASM.org or by calling 216-623-1111. The deadline to RSVP is Aug. 23, 2024.
