Hi we are wondering if this is right, we just saw three small planes in a side by side by side formation and two more behind the three. These planes were not in a holding pattern they all took off together ? I can’t help thinking what might happen if just one little thing went wrong. This is a small town airport with no tower but how can this be safe ? I have looked for information stating anything about this and did get an answer that one could take off while the other is waiting a reasonable time for their turn. Maybe someone can clarify what the rules on this having multiple planes taking off at the same runway and same time ?
That’s a great photo. The night air shows were amazing.
