The 2024 Holland CareAffaire and Wings of Mercy West Runway 5K will be held in conjunction with National Aviation Day Aug. 17 at West Michigan Regional Airport (KBIV).
The day kicks off at 8 a.m. with a pancake breakfast.
That’s also when the Wings West Runway 5K takes off. The $30 registration fee includes a T-shirt and pancake breakfast. All proceeds benefit Wings of Mercy, which coordinates flights in general aviation aircraft for patients in need of medical care.
The day will also feature Young Eagles flights for kids between the ages of 8 and 17, as well as:
- The Hooligans Flight Team
- Vintage airplanes on display
- Helicopter and plane rides
- Flight Path flight simulator
- Drone demonstrations
- And a Classic Car Show featuring the Vintage Car Club of Holland
