FlightSimExpo heads to New England in 2025

By General Aviation News Staff · September 9, 2024 · Leave a Comment

After welcoming more than 2,400 attendees to Las Vegas in June 2024, FlightSimExpo heads to New England in 2025.

Registration opens Dec. 14, 2024, for the 2025 expo, which will be held June 27-29, 2025, at the Rhode Island Convention Center in Providence, R.I., according to officials with the Flight Simulation Association (FSA).

FlightSimExpo has welcomed more than 7,500 attendees to shows in Las Vegas, Orlando, San Diego, and Houston since 2018. The convention features developers, non-profits, virtual airlines, live ATC, seminars, product announcements, off-site activities and tours, and much more, according to FSA officials.

The 2025 event kicks off with #FSExpoFriday, an afternoon of product updates and announcements from flight simulation’s developers. Later that evening, all attendees are invited to a welcome reception, while FSA Captains have the option to attend the FlightSimExpo Banquet, featuring dinner, trivia, and prizes.

On Saturday and Sunday, attendees get access to an 85,000-square-foot exhibit hall with hands-on demos of flight and simulation hardware and software. Speaker stages will feature how-to seminars and educational discussions.

On the Thursday, Friday, and Monday surrounding FlightSimExpo, attendees will have access to other activities, such as air traffic control facility tours, escape rooms, planespotting trips, and more.

“In Houston and Las Vegas, attendees enjoyed access to air traffic control towers, behind the scenes airport tours, aerial dogfights, museum visits, and more,” says FSA Co-Founder Phil Coyle. “We’re working on these options now and look forward to providing more details on aviation-themed and destination-focused activities in early 2025.”

FSA now has links on its site for discounts and deals on hotels and transportation.
