Sporty’s is collaborating with Infinite Flight to integrate Infinite Flight’s scenario-based training with Sporty’s Learn to Fly Course content.
Infinite Flight, a mobile flight simulator platform available on iOS and Android devices, offers users the ability to fly virtually to and from thousands of airports around the world while integrating popular EFB apps like ForeFlight and Garmin Pilot, Sporty’s officials said. The platform also allows users to access a variety of weather scenarios, providing a realistic flying experience for pilots of all proficiency levels, officials added.
Infinite Flight’s scenario system offers a range of custom-made flights that simulate common flight training elements. These scenarios deliver specific learning outcomes, allowing pilots to practice tasks such as steep turns, traffic pattern operations, slow flight, and stalls.
The integration of Infinite Flight’s scenario system with Sporty’s Learn to Fly Course allows students to transition from watching instructional videos to flying a maneuver in a Cessna 172 Skyhawk, “with just the click of a button,” according to Sporty’s officials.
“Users will benefit from immediately applying information they have learned on a virtual flight deck before transitioning to the airplane,” they said.
Sporty’s Learn to Fly Course is available for $299 and includes lifetime access with unlimited updates. Infinite Flight Pro is available annually for $79.99. A six-month subscription is $49.99 or subscribe monthly for $9.99.
Sporty’s Learn to Fly Course users receive a free 90-day trial subscription to the Infinite Flight Pro scenarios.
