ATP Flight School to reopen Sarasota location

By General Aviation News Staff · February 1, 2025 · Leave a Comment

ATP Flight School will reopen its pilot training center at Sarasota Bradenton International Airport (KSRQ) in Florida in March 2025.

After closing due to damage caused by Hurricane Ian, the facility has been restored, according to company officials.

The Sarasota location joins ATP’s network of 80-plus training centers nationwide, including nine across Florida.

Through its Airline Career Pilot Program, ATP offers an accelerated pathway to the airlines, taking students from zero experience to airline pilot in two-and-a-half years, according to company officials.

Classes start every Monday, enabling students to begin their training without delay, officials said, adding the school is now scheduling March class dates at the Sarasota location.
