By General Aviation News Staff · February 7, 2025 · Leave a Comment

Aviation Supplies & Academics (ASA) has released new editions of The Complete Private Pilot textbook and syllabus.

The 14th edition of The Complete Private Pilot textbook and the eighth edition of The Complete Private Pilot Syllabus have been updated to reflect current rules, procedures, and equipment, according to ASA officials.

“Using the FAA exam as the foundation for learning, author Bob Gardner applies practical information, preparing readers not only for the test, but also for taking flight,” ASA officials explain. “He augments the required aeronautical knowledge with specific tips and techniques, checklists and mnemonic devices, and sound advice from personal experience.”

Priced at $29.95, the textbook is available as a softcover book or as an eBook.

The softcover version of The Complete Private Pilot Syllabus is $12.95, while a PDF version is free.
