ASA introduces student sectional study tool

By General Aviation News Staff · February 11, 2025 · Leave a Comment

Aviation Supplies & Academics (ASA) has introduced a new Student Sectional Aeronautical Chart Study Tool.

The sectional chart is for ground training and flight planning practice, according to ASA officials.

An excerpt of the Seattle Sectional, the fold-out chart depicts all classes of airspace and topographical symbols used on the sectional aviation flight planning chart. All sectional legends are included, and the chart is printed to scale and can be used with conventional aviation plotters, ASA officials said.

Not for use in navigation, this less expensive chart alternative provides the information pilots in training need to learn airspace, flight planning, and route selection, company officials added.

The Student Sectional is 20.5 x 40 inches, folded to 5.1875 x 10.25 inches.

Price: $4.95.
