TBM 850 sim debuts

By General Aviation News Staff · February 12, 2025 · Leave a Comment

SEATTLE, Washington — one-G simulation has launched its latest flight training device, the one-G Tarbes 8, designed to train TBM 850 owners.

The Tarbes 8 offers features such as a model-specific flight deck with full-scale TBM 850 flight controls, an Instructor Operator Station (IOS), and scenario-based training capabilities, according to one-G simulation officials.

Executive Flight Training, a provider of advanced flight training, is the launch customer for the Tarbes 8.

“This advanced training device provides our instructors with the ability to simulate realistic, complex emergencies that you cannot execute in the aircraft,” said Douglas Carmody, CEO of Executive Flight Training. “This fosters operational excellence in the cockpit and a safer, more efficiently trained pilot.”
