Flightstar Corporation, a Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul operation (MRO) based at University of Illinois/Willard Airport (KCMI) in Central Illinois, has expanded its maintenance operations with the completion of a new hangar.
Hangar 11 adds 27,000 square feet of storage capacity to the Flightstar campus, bringing the company’s total managed hangar area to more than 137,000 square feet.
The expansion doubles the dedicated space for maintenance and avionics operations, according to company officials.
