By General Aviation News Staff · February 20, 2025 · Leave a Comment

MT-Propeller has received an EASA STC for the installation of its 3-blade constant speed propeller on the Beech B24R and C24R powered by Lycoming IO-360-A1B engines. The FAA STC is in progress.

According to MT-Propeller Vice President Martin Albrecht, the installation features:

  • Damping characteristics for almost vibration-free propeller operations
  • Bonded-on stainless steel leading edge to protect against erosion
  • Up to 15 pounds less weight than the original propeller
  • Increased ground clearance for less blade tip erosion
  • Unlimited blade life
  • FOD repairable blades

MT-Propeller, which holds more than 220 STCs worldwide, is an OEM supplier for more than 90% of the European aircraft industry, as well as 30% of the US aircraft industry. More than 33,000 propeller systems with more than 115,000 blades are in service, according to company officials.
