Sporty’s has introduced three models of motorized jet engines.
Designed for pilots, collectors, and anyone who appreciates the beauty of jet engine technology, these 1:32 scale models replicate the motion and structure of actual jet engines, according to Sporty’s officials.
The Motorized Aircraft Turbofan Engine Model Display is a battery-powered model that includes rotating parts on a magnetic stand. Measuring 7.5-inches long, it fits on a desk or shelf. Price: $79.99.
For those who want more control, the Deluxe Motorized Engine Display steps it up with a working throttle and airflow direction switch. It runs on a USB cord, eliminating the need for batteries.

The deluxe model is available for $119.99.
The Commercial Turbofan Engine Display features lift-up panels to reveal internal components, LED lighting, and a speed-adjustable throttle controller. At 14 inches long, this model is powered by an included USB cord. Price: $149.99.

The complete line is available at AviationGifts.com.
This has been out on the web as a project for 3D printers for some time now, built one myself complete with cowl and thrust reverser.
Do you have a photo of your engine with the cowling in place. Would love to see it.

My engine is not fully assembled yet while I work with the finish on the nacelle and other such details. You can see the design along with a lot of images on Thingiverse at this URL:

This design builds on several others that start with the basic engine and you can find them all on Thingiverse website. It does make for a complex build process so it is better for the novice to buy the pre-made version. For me it has been a fun project but also a lengthy one as well.
The engine itself looks to be patterned after the Rolls-Royce RB211 but only has two spools rather then that engines three.
