The AJ Sport.

AeroJones Aviation USA will introduce its first Special Light-Sport Aircraft (SLSA) for the United States market during EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2025.

The AJ Sport builds upon the CTLS platform from Flight Design. Since acquiring the intellectual property rights from Flight Design in 2017, AeroJones Aviation has worked to upgrade the LSA, according to officials with the Zephyrhills, Florida-based company.

“For the US aviation market, we have incorporated several upgrades to the original design,” said Abid Farooqui, president and founder of AeroJones Aviation USA. “We have a completely redesigned fuel system to reduce vapor lock, a new engine cowling for enhanced cooling, a longer wingspan with curved winglets for improved low-speed handling, and VGs for lower stall speed and softer landings.”

Options include an IFR training setup for flight schools, company officials added.

The factory-built AJ Sport sells for $171,500. A BRS parachute option adds $10,400.
