
Nancy-Lee Rodden, a Nashua, N.H., native and 35-year employee of ILC Dover, will speak about the company’s work in space exploration at the Aviation Museum of New Hampshire on Thursday, July 10, at 7 p.m. The event will feature a full-size replica of a current spacesuit.
ILC Dover, based in Delaware, manufactures materials for extreme environments, including spacesuits, inflatable habitats, and landing bag systems. The company began as the International Latex Corporation in 1947 and started supplying high altitude pressure helmets for the military in 1952. ILC Dover has provided spacesuits for NASA since the Apollo program.
The presentation is open to the public. Admission is free for museum members and $10 for non-members. The Aviation Museum of New Hampshire, a nonprofit organization, is located at 27 Navigator Road in Londonderry. For more information, call (603) 669-4820.
