
MT-Propeller has received STCs from EASA and the FAA for the installation of its two-blade propeller on the Diamond DV20 and DA20-A1 powered by Rotax 912 A3 or Rotax 912 F3 engines.
According to MT-Propeller Vice President Martin Albrecht, the MTV-21-A/170-05 propeller provides:
- Stainless steel propeller leading edge for erosion protection of the blades
- Milled single piece threadless aluminum hub
- Vibration damping characteristics
- FOD repairable with unlimited propeller blade life.
MT-Propeller manufactures 30 certified propellers from 2-blade to 7-blade hydraulically controlled variable pitch propellers for engines producing up to 5,000 hp, and 2-blade to 4-blade electrically controlled variable pitch propellers for engines producing up to 350 hp, as well as two blade fixed pitch propellers.
MT-Propeller holds more than 230 STCs worldwide and is an OEM supplier for more than 90% of the European aircraft industry, as well as 30% of the US aircraft industry, according to officials with the German company.
