Shawn Shay submitted this photo and note: “Ran into some bad weather and decided to wait it out at The O’Neill Municipal Airport-John L Baker Field (KONL) in Nebraska. Ended up spending the night. Great place to be stuck: Cable TV, five courtesy cars, and a downtown close by for dinner and essentials.
“This was on my flight from Hayward Executive Airport (KHWD) in California to Anoka County/Blaine Airport (KANE) in Minneapolis to take my 1961 Comanche 250 in for its 1,000 hour landing gear AD to one of the few places in the country that specializes in this: Comanche Works. Kristin Winters and her team did a complete strip down, inspection of every part, and tested in three days.”
