I was in constant communication with my student. I told him to listen to me to make sure I was making sense when I was talking just in case I started succumbing to the “CO” without knowing I was.

This incident highlights the absolute necessity for proper radio communications at all times, even at so-called uncontrolled airports.
Engine fails during first flight after maintenance
Atmospheric conditions were conducive for carb ice development, however actual cause of failure has not yet been determined.
Lucky to be alive
As I continued to search for the traffic, an aircraft appeared at my 12 o’clock at extremely close range and my altitude head on. I had little to no time to react but attempted to push forward and descend and avoid a collision. But my aircraft and the conflict traffic collided head on.
Near miss in the pattern
As we accelerated for takeoff, we see the Caravan coming straight towards us from the departure end of the runway. Right as we lift off, I make a left turn to side step the runway and we see the Caravan pass by right underneath us.
Student’s flight ends with raging fire
I saw a raging fire from the engine. I grabbed the fire extinguisher from under the co-pilot seat and tried to put it out but that did not work so I sprinted to the terminal to get the airport manager. He came out to help put the fire out.
People on runway stop pilot from landing
The person on the edge of the runway failed to clear the runway; in fact he stepped out on the runway while I was on my final approach.
I suddenly and completely unexpectedly hit the water
While flying low over the water I suddenly and completely unexpectedly hit the water. The plane pitched up in the air and back down slamming onto the water extremely hard. The plane came to a stop and myself and my passenger were in dense fog.
Piper pilots face off
Aircraft landed prior to the displaced threshold and runway, taxied to the runway entryway and stopped nose to nose with my aircraft. Pilot made a motion with his hands that he wanted me to move out of his way so he could taxi past.
