Grand Aire acquires National Flight Services at KTOL
The acquisition includes FBO equipment, including fueling and de-icing equipment, and facilities on the east end of the airport where Grand Aire will operate cargo-dedicated FBO operations. This is in addition to Grand Aire’s FBO operations at its existing corporate headquarters on the west end of the field, company officials explained.
Helmet bag blocks controls during takeoff
After some reflection I realize that there were probably some contributing factors to my failure to secure the bag. I had not slept well the two previous nights — some noise at the hotel kept waking me up, had spent two days in the sun at the air show, and had not eaten much the day this happened.
