New name for Reno Air Races — and it’s a mouthful

The Reno Air Races has a new name: TravelNevada.com Reno National Championship Air Races and Air Show Presented by Breitling. The change is a condition of the state’s Tourism Commission’s three-year, $600,000 title sponsorship to be paid out of surplus room tax revenues, according to a report at the Reno Gazette-Journal.
