Jabiru USA’s smallest Light Sport Aircraft, the Calypso, has earned LSA certification. The Calypso-SP (Sport Pilot) can cruise at 100 knots on 85 hp, provided by a four-cylinder, aircooled, direct-drive Jabiru 2200 engine, which runs on either 100LL or 91-octane auto gas, Jabiru officials said.
