Stephen Ware submitted this photo and note: “Early morning flight on Aug. 27, 2022, Judy and Stephen Ware, departing Morrilton Municipal Airport (KBDQ) in Arkansas. This is my 1946 Cessna 120. Unseasonably cool temperatures and low humidity made for one of the best flying days I have ever experienced in August. My wife jumped out and took this photo as we were preparing to depart Runway 27. Hoping to catch the sunrise, but was a little early, but still a cool picture.”

Sheltair continues expansion at KBJC

Sheltair has officially opened its second hangar at Rocky Mountain Metropolitan Airport (KBJC) in Denver. At the same time, company officials broke ground for Sheltair’s latest expansion project, which will add three more hangars to its KBJC FBO.

Instructional flight ends in smoke-filled cabin

I began to smell something burning, and at the same time, the flaps had come to a stop. I instructed the student to end the maneuver. By this time, smoke started to fill the cabin.
