Volunteers arrived in 16 airplanes from Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and Minnesota to work on the six airstrips in the Hells Canyon National Recreational Area. Projects included mowing, weed eating, installing new windsocks, and trimming back blackberry bushes.
115 pilots set to compete in Air Race Classic
The race begins at 8 a.m. June 21, 2022, when 50 planes will launch full throttle, 30 seconds apart, down the runway at Lakeland Linder International Airport (KLAL) in Florida. From there, they will embark on a 2,548-mile course that ends June 24 in Terre Haute, Indiana.

Near miss is actually a strike
When I called in the controller explained that the other aircraft actually reported it as a strike and that after inspecting their plane he found a tire mark on the top of his wing.
