The FAA will install 23 camera facilities throughout the Hawaiian islands. The first, on the island of Kauai, are expected to be operational in mid-2021.

National Aviation Hall of Fame wins $250,000 state grant
The grant will allow the Hall of Fame — which is in the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force in Dayton, Ohio — to begin work on its new state-of-the-art facility called the NAHF’s Heritage Hall and Education Center (HHEC).
New hangar, fuel farm in the works at KPWK
The new hangar, increased ramp space, and new fuel farm are expected to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2021.
Failure to use carb heat brings down Piper
The pilot’s failure to use carburetor heat while operating the airplane in weather conditions and at engine power settings conducive to the formation of carburetor ice, which resulted in a loss of engine power due to carburetor icing and the subsequent forced landing.
