Couldn’t help but try to preserve the view. Faribault, Minnesota (KFBL) airport, just south of the Twin Cities metro area, is the new home of SteinAir, the specialist in experimental (and certified) aircraft panels and avionics. Faribault Airport is also recovering from a tornado that went through in September 2018, which took out a number of airplanes and hangars.”

The pilot/mechanic’s improper installation and securing of the mixture control cable, which led to a simultaneous loss of total engine power and failure of the nose landing gear to fully extend when the cable caught on the nose landing gear assembly.
