Probable Cause: The pilot’s diverted attention while taxiing which resulted in his failure to maintain clearance from the skip loader.

The pilot’s failure to maintain directional control during landing. Contributing was the pilot getting his shoe caught in the rudder pedal.

The pilot’s inadequate preflight of the fuel quantity which resulted in a loss of engine power due to fuel starvation during cruise flight.
