In an “Open Letter to Our Loyal Fans,” the Reno Air Racing Association Board of Directors reported that after nearly 60 years of air racing in northern Nevada, 2023 will be the last National Championship Air Races at the Reno-Stead Airport.

28 new pilots certified to race at Reno
The 2022 Pylon Racing Seminar for the Reno Air Races saw 28 new pilots certified to race in September, including three in the Unlimited Class. Additionally, 53 pilot renewed their certifications.
