Trojan Phlyers to fly at inaugural Pikes Peak Regional Airshow

The Trojan Phlyers Demonstration Team is gearing up for a return to Colorado to perform in the inaugural Pikes Peak Regional Airshow at the Colorado Springs International Airport Aug. 9-10.

Trojan Phlyers Demo TeamThe two-ship demo team is piloted by decorated combat veteran pilots performing precision close formation aerobatic routines demonstrating the cutting edge performance of the Trojan T28 warbird and the flying expertise acquired in formal military training.

The Pikes Peak Regional Airshow will feature more than 40 historic aircraft, many from World War II. Proceeds from the event go to the Colorado Springs-based National Museum of World War II Aviation and the Peterson Air and Space Museum.
