Video: ‘Aviation: The Invisible Highway’ documentary set for 2015 release

By Ben Sclair · August 7, 2014 ·

UPDATE (January 3, 2015): The title of the film is now Living in the Age of Airplanes and the release date is April 10, 2015.

From the creator of One Six Right comes a documentary called “Aviation: The Invisible Highway“.

From the YouTube description, “AVIATION: THE INVISIBLE HIGHWAY is a story about how the airplane has changed the world. Filmed in 18 countries across all 7 continents, it renews our appreciation for one of the most extraordinary and awe-inspiring aspects of the modern world. The documentary is produced and directed by Brian J. Terwilliger (“One Six Right”), narrated by Harrison Ford, and features an original score by Academy Award-winning composer James Horner. It’s scheduled for a 2015 release.”

While it appears to be targeted at the folks in the back of the plane, it looks like it’ll be stunning to watch and easy to share.

After fifty-five years of flying general aviation and gliders, I look forward to your film. It has been a great century plus.
