OSHKOSH — Today at AirVenture, Jeppesen introduced new digital JeppView navigation data subscription pricing structure based on the number of devices powered by Jeppesen data. Available for popular mobile device delivery through Jeppesen Mobile FliteDeck or personal computer access, the new pricing model will allow customers to choose between two or four “installs” or device access points for Jeppesen data that come with a digital JeppView subscription, company officials said.
WhiteConcierge, a global B2B concierge and lifestyle management company, has been chosen as the provider for Jeppesen Concierge — a new offering that gives pilots and their passengers access to the highest levels of concierge service for everything from personal emergencies to reservations to a virtual private assistant. Jeppesen Concierge will be offered as part of the Jeppesen International Trip Planning Service and is available to all Jeppesen customers.
Avidyne Corp. and Jeppesen have teamed to make Avidyne’s CMax Electronic Approach Chart software, including Jeppesen’s worldwide coverage of airport diagrams, standard on all new EX500 and EX5000 Multi-Function Displays (MFDs).
Avidyne also will enable current EX500 and EX5000 (pictured) MFD customers to upgrade for a fraction of the previous cost for the CMax option, company officials said.
Jeppesen has released its new Private Pilot Online course.
“The Jeppesen Private Pilot Online course fully prepares students to take the FAA written knowledge exam,” said Kert Thielen, Jeppesen’s manager of aviation training services and aviation courseware development. “Additionally, it provides detailed flight and animated maneuvers lessons that can be used effectively by both students and flight instructors.”
