Sport Plane Dynamics, represented by Ed Ricks and Jay Brentlinger, has been named the Arizona dealer of the Paradise Aircraft line of Light Sport Aircraft.
The Paradise Aircraft product line, which includes two models, the Paradise P-1 and the P-1 SP with hand controls for disabled pilots, is manufactured in Brazil and assembled in Sebring, Florida.
The Paradise P-l is an all-metal, high-wing LSA powered by the Rotax 912 UL-S engine with a Warp Drive 3-bladed, ground-adjustable propeller. The plane cruises at 120 mph at 75% power, with fuel consumption at 4,000 feet on a standard day of 5gph, according to company officials, who note a variety of avionics options are available, including a glass cockpit.
Price is in the $108,000-$120,000 range, depending on avionics and options.
