Continental Motors rolls out warranty enhancements

By Janice Wood · April 11, 2010 ·

Teledyne Continental Motors, Inc. (TCM) has unveiled warranty enhancements to factory aftermarket new and rebuilt engines and TopCare cylinders. The upgraded warranty policy went into effect on all factory new and rebuilt aftermarket engines and TopCare cylinders shipped after April 2, 2010.

The company’s new engine warranty policies focus on enhancing the ownership experience by extending parts and labor for aftermarket new engines for 24 months, and 18 months for aftermarket rebuilt engines, TCM officials said. TCM also has modified the TopCare Cylinder warranty with a coordinated 24-month parts and labor warranty as well.

“We continue to listen to our customers,” stated Rhett Ross, president. “These positive changes are a direct response to their desire for a simple warranty system that enhances both the ownership experience and increases product value by offering longer coverage without changing price.”

Full details of the new warranties are contained in the new warranty description and Terms and Conditions, which can be obtained by calling TCM Customer Service at 800-326-0089 or at GenuineContinental.aero.
