Aerosim Flight Academy now a Cirrus Training Center

By Janice Wood · October 6, 2010 ·

Aerosim Flight Academy has become a Cirrus Training Center (CTC). Utilizing Cirrus aircraft and an FAA certified Level 6 Flight Training Device, the academy offers traditional CTC programs, as well as advanced training, including parachute deployment, Caribbean, mountain and Alaskan flying.

Academy officials say the academy is the largest owner of Cirrus aircraft worldwide with 33 SR20s in its fleet. DCA has operated the Cirrus fleet since 2007 and has logged nearly 90,000 hours overall. In addition to the aircraft, the school also operates four Level 6 SR20 Flight Training Devices  designed by Aerosim Technologies.
