Sun ‘n Fun Radio offers sponsorship opportunities

By Janice Wood · January 16, 2011 ·

Hard to believe as snow continues to grip most of the nation, but Sun ‘n Fun, the Lakeland, Florida, show considered the kick off to the air show season, is just a few months away, scheduled from March 29-April 3. For the first time, Sun ‘n Fun Radio is offering underwriting sponsorship announcements.

The non-commercial radio station broadcasts throughout the week-long show, offering everything from interviews with air show performers and the movers and shakers of GA, and more. The new sponsorship underwriting package includes two, 30 second, on-air announcements per day  (total of 12 spots) for $300. The sponsorship announcements reach attendees throughout Sun ‘n Fun’s six days of activity, plus two weeks prior and four months following the fly-in via streaming re-broadcasts on Sun-n-Fun.org and LiveATC.net.

In addition, sponsors qualify for a prime-time reserved interview slot, giving them 15 minutes to promote their company live on air. Sponsors also will have their company logos on promotional signage on the Sun ‘n Fun Radio broadcast deck adjacent to the popular Sunset Grill.

Underwriting sponsors are asked to provide a brief description of their company, product or service, including Sun ‘n Fun exhibit location and website, that the radio production staff will edit and use to prepare a 30-second underwriting announcement, publicizing your sponsorship of Sun ‘n Fun Radio. Descriptive copy is required by Feb. 15, 2011. Underwriting scripted copy will be reviewed with each sponsor for final approval prior to airing.

Talk about a target audience! Where else can you get your message out to such a specific demographic?
