Precision Aviation Group acquires Gardner Aviation Specialist

By Janice Wood · March 7, 2011 ·

Atlanta-based Precision Aviation Group (PAG), exclusive provider of ISMRO (Inventory Supported Maintenance Repair & Overhaul), has acquired Peachtree City, Ga.-based Gardner Aviation Specialist (GAS), an FAA Repair Station specializing in avionics installations, glass panel upgrades, aircraft maintenance, and MRO services.

The GAS purchase allows PAG to expand the services it provides to customers operating fixed and rotary-wing aircraft. GAS operates out of a 35,000-square-foot hangar at Peachtree City’s Airport – Falcon Field (KFFC).

PAG is a provider of products and value-added services to the worldwide aerospace and defense industry. With 90,000 square feet of sales/service facilities in the United States and Canada, PAG serves aviation customers through two business functions – Aviation Supply Chain and its trademarked Inventory Supported Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul – (ISMRO). PAG provides parts and MRO services for fixed and rotary-wing aircraft through Precision Heliparts and Precision Accessories & Instruments in Atlanta, and Precision Heliparts – Canada  and Precision Accessories & Instruments in Vancouver, BC. PAG has MRO capabilities on over 8,500 different products, including Accessories, Avionics, Hydraulics, Instruments, NDT, Starter/Generators, and Wheels/Brakes.

GAS has been known for over 18 years as one of the premier avionics and maintenance shops in the South East and is located at the Peachtree City Falcon Field Airport, just South of Atlanta. With 19 employees, 8 of which are pilots and over 300 years of aviation related experience we know what keeps you in the air. GAS works on a wide range of aircraft and helicopters, from corporate jets to LSA planes. GAS also offers rotables, exchanges, and avionics and instrument repair services.
